Quick Reply

It's great for short, snappy replies that don't require quotes or signatures. To keep Quick Reply as simple as possible, it does not support modifications to the subject, participant list, message quoting or attachments.

To initiate a Quick Reply, click inside the text area below the message, or use the keyboard shortcut Shift + R. You can toggle between Reply to All and Reply only to sender by clicking on the text at the top right corner, and there's a "pop-out" button inside the text area that lets you to continue composing in a standard Compose Window.

Advanced Settings

To configure Quick Reply to always default to Reply or Reply All:

  1. Go to Preferences > Composition > Advanced

Note that Quick Reply was not meant to be a replacement for the Compose window. You cannot style text, add images or attachments, or do quoted or inline replies. For a fully-featured compose experience, use Postbox's composition window.
