To Uninstall the Postbox Application:
macOS
- Within Apple Mail, select Preferences > General. Select Apple Mail as your default mail reader.
- Quit Postbox.
- Drag the Postbox application from your Applications folder to your Trash.
- If you wish to permanently remove all Postbox files and mail databases, delete the following folders:
~/Library/Application Support/Postbox or PostboxApp (if you are using Postbox 6 or higher)
~/Library/Caches/Postbox or PostboxApp (if you are using Postbox 6 or higher)
WARNING: THIS ACTION CANNOT BE UNDONE!
(Note: In macOS the Library folder is hidden. To access it, open the Finder, hold the Option key, then select Library from the Go menu.)
Windows
- Open the Windows Control Panel
- Choose Uninstall a Program (Add or Remove Programs for Win XP)
- Choose Postbox from the list and proceed with the uninstall wizard. If the Uninstall Wizard does not run, you can start it manually, by running C:\Program Files\Postbox\uninstall\helper.exe.
- If you wish to permanently remove all Postbox files and mail databases, delete the following folders:
Users\username\AppData\Local\Postbox or PostboxApp (if you are using Postbox 6 or higher)
Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Postbox (if you are using Postbox 6 or higher)

(Note: The AppData folder is folder is a hidden folder; to show hidden folders:
* Windows Vista / 7 - Open a Windows Explorer window and choose "Organize → Folder and Search Options → Folder Options → View (tab) → Show hidden files and folders".
* Windows 8 and higher: Open a Windows Explorer window and choose "View Tab → Options → View Tab → Show hidden files and folders, then click the Apply button".)
