Troubleshooting: Creating a Test Profile

When troubleshooting issues with Postbox, sometimes it is necessary to create a test profile to help rule out certain causes. The following steps will preserve the current profile while allowing Postbox to generate a new one. Here's how:

  1. Quit Postbox 
  2. Go to the Postbox profile, which can be located by following the instructions here: Postbox Profile
  3. Rename the folder called "Postbox" to "Postbox_orig" 
  4. Relaunch Postbox, and set up a new profile by filling in your account information.
