Too Many Connections to the IMAP Server


If you receive an error message complaining about Too many Connections to the IMAP Server go to Preferences | Accounts | <select the account generating the error> and select the Advanced button on the server settings panel. 

Try lowering the Maximum number of server connections to cache to a lower number. Try 3 or 4 and restart Postbox.
