When you're having problems sending or receiving, here are the screenshots we would like to see:
Sending
If you are having problems sending, go to Preferences | Accounts (Tools | Options | Accounts on Windows). Select the Outgoing Servers (SMTP) item from the tree on the left-hand side (you might need to scroll the tree down to find this item). Select the SMTP Server that is not working and click the Edit... button to the right of the list of SMTP Servers. Follow the steps above to take a screenshot of the SMTP dialog.
Receiving
If you are having problems receiving e-mail for an account, go to Preferences | Accounts. Select the Server Settings panel for the account which is not working. Follow the steps above to take a screenshot of the server settings panel.
Other issues
Simply take a screenshot of what you think is necessary to illustrate the problem. The more details we can see from the screenshot, the better!
