Setting Windows Live Hotmail up to work with Postbox

To use Windows Live Hotmail in Postbox, you must first sign up for a Windows Live ID account.

Setting Postbox up to work with Windows Live Hotmail

1. Open Postbox and select Tools > Account Settings.
2. Click Add Account.
3. Enter your full name in the Your Name field. Enter your Windows Live Hotmail email address (username@hotmail.com or username@live.com) in the Email Address field, followed by your password, and click Continue.
4. You are now back at the Account Settings screen. Click OK

Almost there...

Click on your newly created Windows Live Hotmail account in the folder pane, and then click the Get Mail button in the toolbar.
