How do I Upgrade to a newer version of Postbox?

Install Postbox 2 on the same computer as 1.1 and it will use all of the same settings and data so you can seamlessly upgrade to the new version. You can also move back from 2.0 to 1.1 if you wish.

Please be aware of the following:

• We store passwords in Postbox 2 in a different format, so you might have to reenter passwords if you go back to 1.1.
• Add-ons in 1.1 may not yet be compatible with Postbox 2, and visa-versa.

Installing Postbox 2

If you have a Lifetime license key, simply install Postbox 2 and it will automatically keep using your license key.  (Note: We're having issues with Lifetime keys purchased in between Jan 20th - Feb 1st. If you purchased a Lifetime key during that time period, please contact us to receive a new key.)

If you are using Postbox 1.1.x and would like to try Postbox 2, just install the program and you will begin a 30 day trial.  After the trial, you can either purchase the Postbox 2 upgrade, or move back to Postbox 1.1.x if you wish.
